Through the generous donations of FBES Batch '69 and the efforts of the school administration, the Francisco Balagtas Elementary School Rondalla Group is getting ready to once again to amaze us with their gift of musical prowess. Mrs. Noemi L. Celis, the Special Music Teacher of FBES teaches these kids the basics of playing together.

Metrobank MTAP District Level Contest 2014

Congratulations to our students and trainers who gave our school pride and honor in the recently concluded Metrobank-MTAP Challenge - District Level competitions held last January 16, 2014 at Francisco Balagtas Elementary School. Our grade two pupils trained by Ms. Leah A. Acuña bagged the 1st place in the group category, while our grade three pupils trained by Mrs. Jinky F. Lavarro took home the 3rd place in the group category. Acknowledgement is also given to all the students and trainers from other grades who participated in the event, Mrs. Gloria C. Sta. Ana, Master Teacher in charge who led the MTAP program of our school and to our Principal, Mr. Leo C. Cabaruan for his utmost support in this endeavor.

            Congratulations to Precious Juvie P. Calderon and her trainor Mrs. Niña S. Marcelo for winning 2nd Place in the District Level and 6th Place in the Division Level of the 2014 Kamalaysayan Quiz Bee held last January 17, 2014.
